During a break in the autumn rains, last night's Full Moon was shining beautifully in the sky.

Today’s practice was held in the Japanese-style room at the Chigasaki Civic Cultural Center. The sliding door for the tea room entrance (sadōguchi) operates in the opposite direction compared to our usual venue, Shōrai-an. We reviewed the proper hand movements for opening and closing it while practicing.

The flowers in the alcove are red rose of Sharon, silver grass, great burnet, panicledleaf ticktrefoil, and Western thoroughwort.

For the sweet, prepare "Moon Rabbit -Tsuki-usagi" (Sentaro).
